BioTECH @ Richmond Heights 9-12 High School provides students with a challenging and advanced level math and science curriculum focused on Conservation Biology that exposes them to rigorous coursework including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment, as well as research opportunities with practicing scienctists in state-of-the-
art laboratories. In classes taken on site at the BioTECH Research Station @ Zoo Miami, students study the human impact on biological diversity. Research experiences are offered in collaboration with both Zoo Miami and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Teh entire school is thematicallytied to STEM, research methodology, and applications inthe area of innovative, high-impact environmental science research.
As a result of our unique curriculum and through participation in a STEM research-based curriculum, BioTECH @ Richmond Heights 9-12 will develop global citizens with deep understanding of the value of all living organisms for the sustainability of Earth’s biosphere.
